The Beaver Local High School junior class parents held a 'closest to the pin golf ball drop' fundraiser on Saturday at the Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department. The cost was $50 a golf ball. The $2,500 first place prize went to Mike Volino; the $1,000 second place prize went to Greg Eisenhart; the $500 third place prize went to Heidi Meredith.
