The Walking Dead is returning for its second season in October; and when it does, the survivors, now back on the run since the CDC self-destructed, will be running into some new characters. One of those new characters is a love interest for Glenn.
Glenn's getting some romance!
One of the new characters being introduced at Hershel's farm is Maggie, who is being played by Lauren Cohan (Chuck, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural); and she's going to be the answer for those wondering if on the show, Glenn would be getting his own story line or a love interest. Bringing Maggie into Glenn's life is going to change things a bit for the character, according to Steven Yeun: "Playing Glenn before, he lived to serve. He lived to have a role and to leave a mark on the world, even if he dies a martyr. I love the idea that someone who didn't really have anything to live for, has so much more to live for [now]."
