England boss Fabio Capello is reported to have been offered a staggering £30 million to head to Qatar in an advisory capacity after the finals of Euro 2012, according to The Mirror.
Capello’s current deal is set to expire after the tournament in Poland and Ukraine next summer, and he has been coy on where his future lies thus far, having confirmed he will not continue as the Three Lions' boss after the finals.
The hosts of the World Cup in 2022 are now set to reportedly offer the Italian a huge sum to help restructure football within the country.
Qatar do not currently have a domestic league, and the country's hierarchy see the former Roma boss as an ideal figure to help them to launch one with credibility that will hold overseas.
The Arab nation is currently in the process of major stadium construction projects, but they are supposedly keen to bring Capello to the Middle East in an advisory capacity as early as January next year.
The wealthy elite of Qatar have long had direct involvement in global football, with major financial projects in place with Barcelona in Spain and Paris Saint-Germain in France, whilst investment in their successful World Cup bid has already reached staggering proportions.
