With the hint of an outright win in the air, North was sent back into bat but fought out the match, batting 54 overs to finish on 6-122. S
hane Leonard (28), Greg Crutchley (23) and Craig Gunawardana (22) all occupied the crease to hold off Ridges. Kuru (2-18) and Davis (2-36) were both among the wickets in the second innings.

Berwick beat Hallam Kalora Park comfortably and Mordialloc and Dandenong West ended their match as a draw.
The club Steven Spoljaric plays for was incorrectly stated in The Weekly last Monday. Spoljaric plays for Parkfield, not Buckley Ridges. His teammate, Tony Payne, was also wrongly named Tom. We apologise for both errors.
