Summer Solstice Google Doodle celebrates longest day

Erm, No. Only the northern hemisphere will enjoy the longest day. In the southern hemishphere, they are having their shortest day. The further north one goes, the longer the day; so in hertfordshire it will be light until 9:30pm or so but light until 10.30pm in Northumberland. You get longer days the further north one goes in the northern hemisphere. So the North Pole is the closest to the sun at this time of year and enjoys 24 hours of sunshine. (Weather permitting)

Also the Earth does not tilt, it is in the same postion on its axis at all times. It's the postion in its orbit around the sun that makes the difference. So no leaning involved.
