Hundreds of passengers spent two hours unable to leave their planes while police investigated the breach, believed to be a hole in the fence.
The terminal building was evacuated. Passengers who had arrived earlier in the evening were finally allowed to leave their planes at around 2am. Police are investigating.
A WOMAN has been taken to the hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a fire in a flat in Gordon Street, Leith.
Firefighters were called to the building at 4.11pm
FRIENDS or relatives of a man found dead in his Leith home are being sought by police.
John James Stewart, 66, was found dead in his home in Buchanan Street on Monday night. Mr Stewart was born in Dalziel, Lanark. He is believed to have been divorced and had children.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
