Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Martin of Katy are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Patricia Martin to Eli Branz Dawson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Dawson of Houston.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School. She attended Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She will graduate from the University of Houston in May with a degree in psychology. She is a teacher at the University of Houston Children's Learning Center.
The bride-elect's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Martin of Fulshear and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby G. Smith of Liberty City.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. He attended Texas State University at San Marcos and graduated from Houston Baptist University with a bachelors degree in Church Music. He is student worship pastor at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood.
His grandparents are Mrs. Ina G. Dawson and Dr. Elwin E. Branz of Streator Ill.
A wedding is scheduled for 6 p.m. December 22, 2011 at Weston Lakes Country Club in Fulshear.
