• The Humane Society of Jackson County will be having registration for low cost spay and neuter clinics. This is not based on income. You must come to the Jackson City Library, 3:30-5:30 p.m. to register. Bring a $30 deposit. This will be credited back to you the day of the clinic toward the final cost. cash only please. You do not bring your pet at this time. You will be given your clinic date at the registration. Any county may attend. The cost is as follows: Female cat or kitten: Spay plus rabies shot $54. Spay plus all shots $72; Male cat or kitten neuter plus rabies shot $44, Neuter plus all shots $62. Cost for dogs depends on their weight and gender. Please keep this in mind, spaying and neutering your pets saves lives. There is not enough homes for all the kittens and puppies. • A one day cheerleading clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., sponsored by the cheerleader boosters club and will be held at JHS gym. The clinic is open to any child grades K-5.
