In honor of Lockwood and others who have battled cancer, a moment of silence will be held. Enea will also dedicate her framed jersey to Ian’s parents. Shands Brain Tumor Research Department will accept pledges after the game. Swing for the Cure Home Run Derby will follow the jersey dedication after the game. Participants include Black, sophomore halfback Trey Burton from the football team, junior guard Erving Walker from the men’s basketball team, ESPN college softball analyst and former Stanford All-American and U.S. Olympian Jessica Mendoza, and former Gator football greats Shane Matthews and Chris Doering. Danielle Lawrie, a two-time softball National Player of the Year Danielle, will be the celebrity pitcher.
