Cisco Cancels Manufacturing Of Flip Camera

The worst thing, WORST thing you can do for your business is not give the customer what they want. Which is why everyone’s amiss as to why Cisco cancelled the manufacturing of their uber-popular Flip Camera.

Advertisements for the Flip Camera dotted the Sunset Strip, Times Square, major metropolitan areas, employing everyone from that girl from Scrubs to P. Diddy. The product’s performance was by no means lackluster – it was selling incredibly well. But a serious of management blunders has forced Cisco to cancel everyone’s favorite sex-tape maker, covert journalistic tool, and food-taper. Food-taper doesn’t sound appetizing – I’m sorry I exposed you to it.

It’s as if Apple ’s management would force them to cancel production of the iPad. It’s as if Diddy’s management forced him to cancel…..something he does that’s popular. Is Diddy Dirty Money that popular? It just sounds like Diddy doing his best Kanye West impression. The camcorder was a perfect starter for people who don’t know how to use advanced set-ups, with an intuitive interface, hundreds of thousands of customers – and now it’s gone.

It’s the Keyser Soze of cameras. Now, even after a purchase worth 590 million from Cisco’s end, they’re going to kill extraneous processes and eliminate the camera.
