, today announced that it has hired veteran Central Coast banker Lynda Nahra as President of its Central Coast Region which includes 12 branches in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Nahra, who until July 29, 2011 was President and CEO of Community West Bank in Goleta, California, joined Pacific Western on August 2, 2011.

She joined Community West in 1997 and rose to the President and CEO position in 2000. Ms. Nahra has been recognized as a top woman banker in California by the magazine U.S. Banker and by the newspaper Pacific Coast Business Times, and she served as president of the Independent Community Bankers Association in 2009. Ms. Nahra is active in the community, serving as a Director of Women's Economic Ventures, a member of the Montecito Rotary Club, and is a Finance Committee member for the Goleta Montessori Center School and the Santa Barbara United Way.
