DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) - She was gunned down at the age of 20. Who could open fire on this young woman and why? It's Fox 2 and Crimestoppers Michigan's Most Wanted.

Lakesha Kirkland was sitting in the backseat of her boyfriend's car. They were on Whitcomb and Puritan in Northwest Detroit. Someone pulled up in a blue Dodge Ram and opened fire with an AK-47. Kirkland died instantly. It all happened on Sept. 20, 2009. The murder remains unsolved; Detroit police continue to dig for leads.
"We're hoping someone may know someone in the area that may own the truck," said a police spokesman. "We certainly welcome them to call 1-800-SPEAKUP ."
Your help is also needed to find the following fugitives: Jerome Bradford, 43, wanted for breaking and entering on West 8 Mile in Detroit; Charles Edwards, 17, wanted for home invasion on Detroit's east side; and David Baldwin, 23, wanted for assualt with intent to murder and illegal possession of a gun.
Inkster Police are seeking tips in the murder of Phillip Searls. He was shot to death in his apartment on the corner of Allen and Beech street in May, 2009.
