Homophobic US church could be blocked from Aberdeen protest

A HOMOPHOBIC US church group planning to protest outside an Aberdeen kirk could be thwarted, the Government hinted today.

The UK Border Agency said it would make “no apologies” for preventing people from entering the country if they were trying to “undermine society”.

Westboro Baptist Church has announced it wants to come to picket Queen’s Cross Church in Aberdeen later this year, in protest at its openly-gay minister, the Rev Scott Rennie.
