Ethan Zohn, a "Survivor" winner whose knows the true meaning of "survivor," will compete on the 10th-anniversary season of "The Amazing Race." Zohn, 37, winner of "Survivor: Africa," is in remission from Hodgkin's lymphoma after a stem-cell transplant. He'll compete with his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Morasca, 30, winner of "Survivor: Amazon."

The 11 teams competing in the 19th edition of the round-the-world race, which  premieres at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, also include former NFL tight end Marcus Pollard and a teen who sailed around the world solo. Again, no St. Louis-area team made the cut; maybe someday.

A new penalty called the Hazard "will impact one team's future on the Race right from the starting line," CBS says. The journey starts in Southern California and heads for Taipei, Taiwan. First-time destinations include Indonesia, Malawi, Belgium and Denmark.

Here are the teams in addition to Zohn and Morasca:

Justin Young, 31, a doctor, and his sister, Jennifer Young, 26, a special education teacher, both from from Stone Mountain, Ga.  Liz and Marie Canavan, 24, twins from Deerfield, Ill. Ron Zeitz, 44, and his partner, Bill Smith, 49, flight attendants from Laguna Niguel, Calif.  Bill Alden, 63, a farmer, and his wife of 40 years, Cathi Alden, 62, a college instructor, from Albany, Ore.  Andy Finch, 30, and Tommy Czeschin, 32, professional snowboarders and former Olympians from California. Amani Pollard, 36, and her husband, Marcus Pollard, 39, a retired NFL player (Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions) now coaching high school football in Pine Mountain, Ga.
