Laura Vecsey’s commentary “A painful public legacy” is commendable, though I fear some will see it as a topic to be avoided.
To my mind, Elizabeth Edwards was culpable in seeking to give the American people, myself included, a president whom she knew to be a liar and a philanderer.
Because lies undermine all human communication, this is a major issue that should not be lost from our memories.
