Weekend full of aviation fun

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) - Engines are revving for a second day at the Vectren Dayton Airshow.

This year's show at the Dayton International Airport will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds pushing their F-16 Fighting Falcons to the limit in a display of speed, skill, power and precision.

Other attractions include a dramatic recreation of the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, one of a kind helicopter aerobatic maneuvers, and a rare visit from one of NASA's most unusual looking transport planes.

More than 70,000 people are expected to attend this year's show. Despite the extreme heat, organizers say Saturday's show was a success. Official attendance numbers will not be known until after the show closes Sunday.

Gates are open until 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

General admission tickets are good for one full day of aviation fun!

Ticket Prices: $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 6 to 11 and seniors over 60. All children 5 and under are free.
