Did Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows keep Emma Watson from playing sexy roles? In her recent interview with MTV, the actress admits she feels awkward and uncomfortable during a risqué photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar .
This August, the girl who grew up before her fans' eyes will grace the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine. Hermione, played by Watson, was one of Harry Potter's sidekicks in his mystical world of magic.
Her role as spokesperson for Lancome and other beauty endorsements come now after she has shed her childish and typical look. After cutting her hair and sprucing up her wardrobe, this little wizard has grown up. Watson admits in her interview with MTV that "To let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it's scary for me."
Now that her role in the Harry Potter franchise is coming to an end, will this young actress be able to find herself in more mature roles? Some may say that being sexy has nothing to do with beauty and it does not matter.
One page shows Emma Watson glowing and dressed in white, her hair minimally slicked back with a natural look on her face. Beautiful and innocent, she looks as if she is dancing among the wildflowers around her. The other page reveals a very different Emma Watson, one her fans are not used to. She is dressed in black with a very dark head of hair. She is gorgeous underneath all of that makeup and that is what true beauty is.
