— Mr. and Mrs. Carnese Hale of Honea Path, South Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sydney Alese, to Luke Mark Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Edwards of Anderson, South Carolina.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Hale of Cedar Bluff, Virginia and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jackson of Belton, South Carolina. She is a 2009 graduate of Lander University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and is employed with the Anderson County Assessor's Office.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Edwards of Cashiers, North Carolina and Louise Rice Campbell and the late Mr. Albert Campbell of Anderson, South Carolina. He is a 2010 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Environmental Science and Business. He is co-owner of Edwards Moore Real Estate in Anderson, South Carolina.
The wedding is planned for August 27, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist in Anderson, South Carolina.
