Natalie Portman is the 5th pregnant Oscar winner

Natalie Portman isn't the first actress with a baby bump to accept an Oscar as best actress.

The "Black Swan" star and her fiance Benjamin Millepied are expecting their first child summer.

Unlike Portman, Meryl Streep wasn't even showing when she picked up her Academy Award on April 11, 1983, for her performance as concentration camp survivor in "Sophie's Choice". Streep didn't mention her pregnancy in her acceptance speech, but her first daughter Mary Willa "Mamie" Gummer, who interestingly is now an actress, was born that August.

Three pregnant ladies have won best-supporting actress trophies. On March 30, 1955, a very pregnant Eva Marie Saint, upon getting her award from Frank Sinatra, joked, "I may have the

baby right here." Two days later Saint gave birth to a son.

Catherine Zeta-Jones proved she was a real trouper when she won her Oscar on March 23, 2003. Eight months pregnant, the actress performed a live version of "All That Jazz" from her movie, "Chicago." Less than a month later, she gave birth to her first daughter.

Rachel Weisz wore a stylish black dress on March 5, 2006, when she received her award for "The Constant Gardener." On May 31, 2006, she had son with her then-boyfriend, director Darren Aronofsky (a nominee this year).

But being pregnant hardly assures a win. Four expecting stars lost out in the best-actress category - Glenn Close, "Fatal Attraction," (1988); Susan Sarandon, "Thelma & Louise"; and Portman's chief rival this year, Annette Bening, who was up the award for her performance in "American Beauty" on March 26, 2000. Less than four weeks later she had her fourth child with Warren Beatty.

Then in 2008, a pregnant Cate Blanchett was a double loser as best actress for "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" and as best-supporting actress in "I'm Not There." Six weeks later she had a son.

Marcia Gay Harden didn't get a little man in 2004 for her supporting performance in "Mystic River," but she did give birth to twins less than two months later.
