10 places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Birmingham tonight

Get your Irish on.

If ever you’re going to do it, this would be the night.

The parades and other daytime events have ended, making way for the partying that St. Patrick’s Day has become known for.

Green beer will abound at many drinking establishments around town, and bands -- some with an Irish flair -- are taking to stages.

Here are 10 places planning something special for St. Patrick’s Day. (Know of more? Leave ‘em in the comments for all to see!)

Rare Martini (2829 7th Ave. South) — St. Patrick’s Day party featuring Five-0 and DDJ E-Tubbs. Green Apple Tini specials. 3 p.m. until 3 a.m.

The Wine Loft (2200 First Ave. North) — Go Green and Get Blue featuring the Blue Galaxy String Project.

The Back Nine (611 Doug Baker Blvd.) — St. Patrick’s Day party featuring music from Erica and the Soulshine Band.

Innisfree Irish Pub (710 29th St. South) — 24 Hours of Madness started with breakfast this morning and continues with bagpipes, green beer and music (Teenage Daddy, The Undergrounders, Kolby Mele and DJ Mark) through the night.

The Barking Kudu (2929 Seventh Ave. South) — St. Patrick’s Day party all day, featuring music tonight from Raygun Administration.

The Oasis (2807 Seventh Ave. South) — St. Patrick’s Day bands are Keitha Williams at 7 p.m. and Possum at 9 p.m.

Stillwater Pub (2109 Seventh Ave. South) — All-green St. Patrick’s Day with music by Fisher Green and Heath Green & the Martyrs.

Otey’s (224 Country Club Park) — Irish music from Joe Breckenridge and Shillelagh Law.

Beef O’Brady’s (5519 Grove Blvd.) — Music from Matt Hill Band, Alabama Pipes & Drums, Frank Beaton Bag Pipe Extaordinaire and Hooley.

Metro Bistro Bar (2125 Second Ave. North) — McBaker’s St. Patrick’s Hootenanny, a St. Patrick’s Day party featuring live music.
