Top Picks

NCAA WomenÂ’s Basketball Tournament (11 a.m., ESPN2) After winning a school-record 72 straight games, all by double-digits, Geno AuriemmaÂ’s Connecticut Huskies are expected to have a cakewalk to the Riverwalk in San Antonio, site of the Final Four. ThatÂ’s where a possible semifinal against Tennessee looms, as Pat SummittÂ’s Lady Vols have rebounded from last yearÂ’s first-round exit to garner a No. 1 seed and restore order in womenÂ’s hoops. Pat leads Geno 8-6 in the all-time NCAA-title race, but 62 other teams (including top seeds Stanford and Nebraska) are out to trump that story line, beginning with this weekendÂ’s wall-to-wall first-round action.

“Dancing Crazy With Miranda Cosgrove” (8:30 p.m., NICK) “iCarly” star Miranda Cosgrove focuses on her music career in a special that goes behind the scenes and on stage with her during her first concert tour. Footage includes Cosgrove working backstage with her band, choreographer and stylists, as well as doing promotional work on a photo shoot and a radio interview. Cosgrove also talks about what inspires her work and spends time interacting with her fans.

“Grown Ups” (9 p.m., STARZ) This 2010 comedic romp stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider as five guys who, as kids decades ago, won a basketball championship (guess they didn’t need a sixth man or a bench) and reunite at a lakefront house after their former coach dies. And in true Peter Pan fashion, they realize that, despite becoming responsible members of their communities, with families and jobs, none has ever fully accepted the need to leave behind the glory days of youth. Rated PG-13.

“Time After Time” (9 p.m. and 11 p.m., HALMRK) Kaj-Erik Eriksen and Richard Thomas star in this 2011 time-bending tale about a man’s struggle to face life’s problems head on. Eriksen plays a reporter who decides to return to his hometown after a career setback. At his new job at the local paper, the reporter meets his future self, played by Richard Thomas, who urges him to reconnect with his high-school sweetheart.

“Pit Boss” (10 p.m., midnight and 5 a.m., APL) Shorty will do anything to place a dog, even participate in a séance. While Shorty’s tied up with the dead, Ronald faces ghosts of his own when he goes home to visit his adoptive parents and reminisces about his life in South Korea before he moved to the U.S.
