Five Collingwood runners took part in the final Surrey Men’s Cross Country League Division Four match of the season on Wimbledon Common on Saturday.
Times: Martin Lloyd 34:20, Bill Walsh 35:30, Andy Stalley 39:40, Nigel Pointer 41:28, Doug White unconfirmed.
Annette Helliwell and Allan Rumbles ran 33 miles on both Saturday and Sunday for the Pilgrim Challenge, an off-road ultra-marathon challenge over the North Downs. Helliwell was pleased not to get lost as she clocked seven hours, 31 minutes on Saturday and eight hours, 42 minutes on Sunday.
