ANNUAL GINGERBREAD CONTEST, Nov. 25 with winners announced Dec. 19. Members of the public invited to create and submit a gingerbread creation (house, train, street scene or whatever). THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER,  8 p.m. Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 2; 4 p.m. Nov. 27; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 3; 3 p.m. Dec. 4, Woodstock Opera House, 121 E. Van Buren St., Woodstock.
