John T. Briley Jr. of Glenside passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was 89.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret L. (Campbell); loving father of Blanche Buchanan, John T. III and Renee Nichols (Rick); and brother of Wilma Tierney. He also is survived by six grandchildren, Ken Jr., Mark Sr., John IV, Matt, Michael, and Lisa; his six great-grandchildren, PFC Ken III, Andrew, Mark Jr., Maggie, Marian, and Mason; a great-great grandchild on the way; and special friends, Lynn Briley and Ken Lake Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to participate in John's life celebration from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Craft/Givnish of Abington, 1801 Old York Road, and to his funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
