Mr. and Mrs. Karl Dibrell McKinley announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Maren McKinley, to Brad Marshall Hutto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Edgar Hutto Jr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Cyrel Honeycutt, and the late William Edward McKinley, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Glyn Love, all of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Edgar Hutto Sr. of Brandon, and Harold Burnett Blalock of Oklahoma City, and Frances Marshall Blalock of Columbus.
Miss McKinley is a graduate of Madison Central High School. She attended Mississippi State University and received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. At State, she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority, an MSU Roadrunner, and an MSU Diamond Girl. In 2005, she was elected Mississippi State University Homecoming Queen. Miss McKinley is associated with the University of Mississippi Medical Center as a physician liaison.
Hutto is a graduate of Madison Central High School and Mississippi State University. At State, he was a member of the baseball team and Sigma Chi fraternity. He then received his juris doctorate at Mississippi College School of Law. Hutto is an assistant district attorney with the Hinds County district attorney’s office.
The couple will exchange vows March 5, at the Chapel of Memories on the campus of Mississippi State University, with reception to follow at the Hunter Henry Center.
