UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State tailback Evan Royster and defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu have accepted invitations to play in the 86th East-West Shrine Game.
The game, which will be played Saturday at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Fla., will be televised at 4 p.m. by NFL Network.
Former NFL coaches Dan Reeves (East) and Wade Phillips (West) will lead the all-star teams, which begin practice today.
Royster, a three-time All-Big Ten Conference selection, is Penn State's career rushing leader with 3,932 yards. He also was the first player in school history with three, 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
Royster gained 1,014 yards and scored six touchdowns this past year, and he caught 25 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown.
Ogbu, a co-captain and three-year starter, was a second-team All-Big Ten pick this past season. He tied for second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss and registered 48 tackles overall.
