San Clemente junior left tackle Kyle Murphy (6-7, 275), picked far left, has picked up scholarship offers recently from UCLA, Arizona State and Washington State, Tritons football coach Eric Patton reports.
These offers join an impressive list that includes Auburn, USC, Cal, Stanford, SMU, Duke, Michigan, Utah, Washington, Notre Dame, Colorado and Nebraska.
Yes, Murphy is the No. 1 junior recruit in the county.
Tritons junior QB Travis Wilson (6-6, 215) also is faring well in recruiting.
He has recently landed scholarship offers from Arizona State and Colorado, Patton said in an e-mail. Earlier this winter, Wilson was offered by Utah (and Norm Chow) and Washington.
