Library books available for Kindle

WENATCHEE — North Central Regional Library now has eBooks compatible with the Kindle eBook reading device.

The library has offered eBooks for computers and other reading devices for years, but only recently made eBooks available for Amazon’s popular Kindle, said Barbara Walters, the library’s information technology manager.

Kindle owners can download free eBooks from the library’s website at www.ncrl.org. Library cardholders can search for eBooks on the Overdrive service, which provides eBooks to thousands of libraries across the United States.
