Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice” to be staged by Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park at Oklahoma City University.
Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park has chosen “The Merchant of Venice” for its winter production, scheduled today through Sunday at Oklahoma City University, 2501 N Blackwelder. Shakespeare’s most suspenseful comedy explores anti-Semitism, justice, revenge, wealth and happiness. The cast includes, from left, Sasha Kostyrko (Nerissa), Justin McInnis (Gratiano), Rob Gallavan (Bassanio) and Kristi Forsch (Portia).
