First, we do not want to be forced to learn Chinese, Russian, or Arabic.
Second, Russia, China, and other countries steal our technology, avoiding high research and development costs. Bill Clinton gave the Chinese explosive bolt technology and the hardware and software necessary to place Chinese satellites in orbit and nuclear weapons on target with pinpoint accuracy. The Chinese J-20 stealth fighter will be shown to contain much technology that was developed in the United States.
Third, our military pay, food, and living conditions are far superior to those of any other nation.
Fourth, we go to great lengths to insure that prisoners of war, including terrorists, are well fed, have first class medical and dental care, and live in relative comfort.
Fifth, we place a high priority on body armor and other protective measures to keep our troops from being injured and killed. When our troops are injured, medical evacuations and the highest level of medical and surgical care are available on an immense scale.
Sixth, our military shows up with aircraft carriers, hospital ships, supply ships, helicopters, tent cities, fresh water, hot food, medical care, and other supplies when disasters strike anywhere. The United States and Israel are usually the first two countries with hospitals on the ground in times of crisis.
Seventh, we have learned that listening to the Left and decreasing our military preparedness leads to war. The attack on Pearl Harbor and the attacks of 9/11/2001 are only two of many incidents that come to mind.
