'Next Great Restaurant' will have Minneapolis location

Get ready for a new hot restaurant chain to debut in Minneapolis. In the upcoming reality series "America's Next Great Restaurant," contestants will vie to get the backing to open the restaurant of their dreams. The winning concept will open in three locations — Hollywood, New York City and Minneapolis.

Bobby Flay ("Iron Chef America") and fellow celebrity chefs Curtis Stone ("The Biggest Loser"), Steve Ells (founder and CEO of Chipotle) and Lorena Garcia (Miami restaurateur) are not only putting their money behind the chain but also will serve as the show's judges and the mentors.

"America's Next Great Restaurant," will premiere at 7 p.m. March 6 on NBC. In the first episode, 21 competitors — people from all walks of life — will present their concepts. The field will then be narrowed to 10, who will then compete to win the capital to open three restaurants right after the finale. — Kathie Jenkins
