On Nov. 1, a new Christmas story book was made available to the public. This book, “Sprucy The Tallest Christmas Tree,” was written, edited and finally put out to print by Jacob, Joshua and James Scali who reside in Hollis. The family trio are known to friends and neighbors as The Three J’s. It is their hope that this latest of Christmas story is enjoyed by all as much as it was a favorite of their Christmas tradition.
Introduction to “Sprucy The Tallest Christmas Tree”: On a cold stormy Christmas night a battle begins.
Amongst the storms destructive force, and the debris of Christmas trees that have been destroyed is heard a faint but determined voice,
Sprucy is a Christmas tree with unparalleled courage. When an oncoming storm drives a lost girl onto a Christmas tree farm, she is denied shelter by all the impressive Christmas trees. However, Sprucy, the disparaged pine of the paddock, takes her under his sheltering boughs.
The buffering storm lays waste to the grove, but soon focus’ its attention on the one homely tree that dares withstand its might.
SPRUCY The Tallest Christmas Tree is a tale of triumph, proving that outward appearance is no measure of one’s strength of character.
