We hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving break! Here's what's in store today and the rest of this week:

1. Plan ahead: Red Ryder Christmas exhibit open at museum

The Plymouth Historical Museum has a nice holiday gift that opened to the public Nov. 9: "A Red Ryder Christmas Story."

"A Red Ryder Christmas Story" will run through Dec. 31, and is chock-full of nostalgia surrounding the beloved 1983 movie and Jean Shepherd's stories, from which the film is based.

Museum hours are 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, and $2 for students 6-17.

2. Plan ahead: 'It's a Wonderful Life' opens at Penn Theatre on Thursday

It's a Wonderful Life (Not rated, 130 minutes) opens Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Penn Theatre. All seats are $3. The 1946 holiday classic was directed by Frank Capra and stars James (Jimmy) Stewart and Donna Reed.

Rejoice! Fuel prices are falling. According to MichiganGasPrices.com, the best deal on fuel is $2.99 at the following stations:

The Plymouth Youth Advisory Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at City Commission Chambers at Plymouth City Hall. The commission is anticipating its toy drive Dec. 13 at Genuine Toy Company in downtown Plymouth. The group consists of area high school students who advise city officials on matters affecting youths in the area.
