It was a mixed night for new shows on Sunday.
ABC's "Once Upon a Time" continued to post strong numbers, tying Fox's "The Simpsons" as the No. 1 non-sports series of the evening.
But Fox's "Allen Gregory" and ABC's "Pan Am" once again put up disappointing ratings.
"Time" averaged a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating at 8 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, down 5 percent from last week but still finishing second in the timeslot behind NBC's dominant "Sunday Night Football."
Another new ABC drama, "Pan," didn't fare nearly as well. The show tied a series low with a 1.8 at 10 p.m., even with last week and third in the timeslot.
And Fox's new animated show, "Gregory," slid in week two despite a strong lead-in from "Simpsons." It averaged a 2.1 rating at 8:30 p.m., down 13 percent from last week's series debut.
NBC finished first for the night among 18-49s with a 6.3 average overnight rating and a 15 share. Fox was second at 4.6/11, ABC third at 2.4/6, CBS fourth at 2.2/5, Univision fifth at 1.2/3 and Telemundo sixth at 0.4/1. As a reminder, all ratings are based on live-plus-same-day DVR playback, which includes shows replayed before 3 a.m. the night before. Seven-day DVR data won’t be available for several weeks. Forty-two percent of Nielsen households have DVRs. Also, ratings for NBC's NFL football coverage are approximate as fast nationals measure timeslot and not actual program data. At 7 p.m. Fox was first with an 8.0 for NFL overrun and "The OT," followed by NBC with a 2.7 for "Football Night in America." CBS was third with a 2.2 for "60 Minutes," ABC fourth with a 1.0 for a repeat of "Time," Univision fifth with a 1.0 for "Rosa de Guadalupe" and Telemundo sixth with a 0.3 for "Pa'lante con Cristina." NBC took the lead at 8 p.m. with a 7.4 for NFL pregame and the start of "Sunday Night Football," while ABC moved to second with a 3.7 for a new "Time." Fox was third with a 2.9 for "Simpsons" (3.7) and "Gregory" (2.1), CBS fourth with a 2.6 for "The Amazing Race," Univision fifth with a 1.3 for "Mira Quien Baila" and Telemundo sixth with a 0.3 for more "Cristina." At 9 p.m. NBC led again with a 7.8 for football, with ABC and Fox tied for second at 2.8, ABC for "Desperate Housewives" and Fox for "Family Guy" (3.0) and "American Dad" (2.5). CBS was fourth with a 2.1 for "The Good Wife," Univision fifth with a 1.4 for another hour of "Baila" and Telemundo sixth with a 0.4 for the first half of the movie "Bolt." NBC came in first once again at 10 p.m. with a 7.5 for football, followed by CBS with a 1.9 for "CSI: Miami." ABC was third with a 1.8 for "Pan Am," Univision fourth with a 1.0 for "Sal y Pimienta" and Telemundo fifth with a 0.4 for the end of its movie. Among households, NBC led the night with a 9.8 average overnight rating and a 15 share. CBS was second at 6.6/10, Fox third at 6.3/9, ABC fourth at 4.6/7, Univision fifth at 1.7/3 and Telemundo sixth at 0.4/1.
