GMR Global Mineral Resources Corp. Appoints Internationally Recognized Engineer as Chairman to its Advisory Board

("GMR") (frankfurt:GLLN), a Canadian-based resource, exploration and development company trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (trading symbol GLLN), is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Claus Wagner-Bartak as Chairman of its Advisory Board.

Dr. Wagner-Bartak is a mature, accomplished and internationally recognized multidisciplinary engineer, scientist and business executive. He has pioneered and coordinated several innovative megaprojects, including the development of NASA's robotic space arm (CanadArm) used on the Space Shuttle program.

Dr. Wagner-Bartak's extensive professional experience includes several tenures as a Founder, Director and Senior Board Member of a wide range of companies including Diasyn Technologies, Inc. (Chairman and President), Energy Dynamics Inc. (Founder and President) and Spar Aerospace (Vice President and General Manager). He also served as past President of Titanium Corporation, a Canadian public mining company.

Dr. Wagner-Bartak has evaluated and assessed technology and environmental aspects, specifically within the mining industry, focusing on eliminating potentially damaging pollutants and contaminants. He has been an avid advocate for natural treatments for illness and for environmental and pollution controls.

Dr. Wagner-Bartak has obtained his Ph. D. in Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics (magna cum laude), his MBA in Engineering Management and International Business and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng. # 48462014).
