The Coosa 10-year-old All-Stars won the district championship Sunday.
RAINBOW CITY — The Coosa 10-year-old All-Star baseball team won its district title in Rainbow City on Sunday, defeating the Attalla All-Stars 10-7 in the championship game.
The win advanced the team to the state tournament beginning July 9 in Florence.
Members of the team include Jake McDowell, Luc Jones, Chris Sanders, Connor Belyeu, Houston Hill, Andrew Dunston, Lane Roberts, Jake Blankenship, Evan Edwards, Blake Habyan and Brock Habyan. The team is coached by Stacy Dunston, Cliff McDowell and Barry Hill.
