Jessie Carlos Banuelos and Rogelio Diego Banuelos
Jessie Carlos Banuelos 23, and his son Rogelio Diego Banuelos 20 months, died in a tragic car accident on 171hwy west of Opolis, KS on August 20, 2011.
Jessie was born February 23, 1988 in Los Angles, CA the son of Carlos Banuelos and Maria Rosario Banuelos. Diego was born December 7, 2009 in Pittsburg, KS the son of Jessie Carlos Banuelos and Amanda M. Swor. Jessie was a supervisor of shipping and receiving for Sugar Creek Packing Company in Frontenac, KS. Jessie was of the Catholic Faith. In his free time he enjoyed playing pool, soccer, basketball, Playstation 3, dancing and music. He will be most remembered by his love for his son and family. Little Diego loved to play ball with his dad and uncles in the yard; he also enjoyed playing on the fuse ball table; like his father music and dance was another one of his favorite things to do. Ironically, Diego loved to go for car rides with his dad in their Mustang waving “bye bye."
Survivors of Jessie include his parents, siblings Juan Munguia, Victor Banuelos and Tino Banuelos all of Pittsburg, KS; a cousin and best friend Francisco Banuelos; 24 cousins and a host of other family members and friends.
Survivors of Diego include his mother; maternal grandparents Kelly Swor and Beverly Ross; step-grandfather Gerald Ross Jr.; step-grandmother Christy Swor; aunts Talaina Ross, Kelsey Swor; uncles Aaron Swor, Brandon Ivicsics and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Services will be 2pm Saturday August 27, 2011 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Fr. Adam Keiter and Daryl Gaddy officiating. Rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday August 26, 2011 at the funeral home; family will receive friends immediately following the rosary.

Jessie nacio el 23 de Febrero del 1988 en Los Angeles, CA. Hijo de Carlos Banuelos y Maria Rosario Banuelos. Diego nacio el 7 de Diciembre del 2009 in Pittsburg , KS. Hijo de Jessie Carlos Banuelos y Amanda M. Swor. Jessie era supervisor para Sugar Creek Packing Company en Frontenac , KS. Jessie era devota de la regilion catholica. En su tiempo libre le encantaba jugar pool, futbol, basketball, playstation 3, bailar, y escuchar musica. Sera mas recordado por el amor a su hijo y familia. El pequeno Diego amaba jugar con la pelota con su padre y sus tios en el patio, tambien le encantaba jugar futbolito, como su padre la musica y bailar era otra de sus pasatiempos favoritos. Ironicamente tambien le encantaba pasear en el mustang de su padre deciendo “bye bye”.
Sobreviventes de Jessie incluyen sus padres y hermanos Juan Munguia, Victor Banuelos and Tino Banuelos todos de Pittsburg , KS ; un primo hermano y mejor amigo Francisco Banuelos; 24 primos y primas y mucha otra familia y amigos.
Sobreviventes de Diego incluyen su madre Amada Swor: abuelos maternos Kelly Swor and Beverly Ross; abuelastro Gerald Ross Jr.; abuelastra Christy Swor; tias Talaina Ross, Kelsey Swor; tios Aaron Swor, Brandon Ivicsics y mucha otra familia y amigos.
Velorio y Rosario sera Viernes 26, de Agosto 2011 ala 7pm en el Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg , KS con Padre Adam Keiter y Pastor Daryl Gaddy. Misa Religiosa sera el Sabado Agosto 27, 2011 alas 2:00 de la tarde.
